As the war in the Ukraine rages on, thousands of soldiers and civilians are being wounded every month. Estimates suggest that as many as 100,000 Ukrainians soldiers have been wounded in the past two years, and at least an additional 30,000 killed. Many of us feel overwhelmed or astounded by these numbers but have no idea how to help.

There is a way you can help. By providing tourniquets for Ukrainian soldiers, you can personally save lives. A tourniquet is a simple device that can be tightened onto a limb to stop arterial bleeding. This allows soldiers who have wounds in the arms or legs to survive until they can get to a hospital. Without tourniquets, many soldiers simply bleed to death on the field.

We have put together a small team to travel to the Ukraine to serve their people. We are partnering with Word of Life Ukraine to put tourniquets directly into the hands of soldiers.

A tourniquet can be purchased for $6, and we hope to bring as many as 1,000 tourniquets with us.

Update: Thanks to the generosity of many, we have currently received funds for and purchased 1000 tourniquets. We still have a need for funds to transport the tourniquets to the Ukraine by hand to ensure they get to the soldiers. Any additional donations made to this fund will go toward transportation costs or mission related expenses.
