The Great Commission
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
— Matthew 28:18–20
There are 350 Unreached People Groups in Central & South America, all waiting to hear the Gospel—some for the very first time.
This is the driving focus behind WME Argentina. We are partnering with the Lord to see Living Water pour out from this missions training base to every unreached people group in the Americas and beyond.
The primary training material will be the Disciple-Making Movement (DMM) strategy, through which WME alone has seen 175,000 people come to Christ since 2008 —not to mention the global impact reaching over 100 million people.
My Story
My name is Joy Tarnowski, a small-town girl from Marshall County, Kentucky.
Since a very young age, the Lord has given me a heart to reach the hardest and darkest places with the power of the Gospel.
I have been blessed to be raised at Christian Fellowship Church, where I joined the full-time staff in 2017 as the church secretary. In 2023, I stepped into a pastoral role to better serve our church family.
Because I grew up at CFC, I have also spent my entire life around World Missions Evangelism (WME). Some of my earliest memories are the missions conferences WME hosted at our church. The Parade of Nations in particular marked my heart and gave me a deep desire to see those nations come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Looking back, it is clear to me that the Lord has been preparing me for this partnership for many years.
The Vision
The overall vision is to open a missions training base in Argentina in partnership with Youth With A Mission (YWAM).
At this base we will disciple students in their walk with the Lord, teaching them to obey everything Jesus commanded—including reaching the nations with the Gospel.
A major emphasis will be training students in Disciple-Making Movements (DMM) and launching them into unreached people groups around the world.
My Next Steps
This September of 2026, I will be leaving to attend a YWAM Discipleship Training School (DTS). Because we hope to run DTS programs in the future, I am excited to learn the heart behind DTS and the core values of YWAM firsthand.
After completing DTS, I plan to move to Argentina and partner with an already existing YWAM base. This season will allow me to:
• Learn Spanish
• Learn Argentine culture
• Build relationships with other Mission-minded believers
This phase could last six months to a year. I would deeply appreciate prayer that Spanish will come quickly.
After this season, I will transition to the property in Córdoba, Argentina, where we will pioneer the new base.
All of this being said, I have learned to hold my plans loosely. We believe the Lord has spoken clearly about moving forward with the Argentina missions base, and we are stepping forward in faith. At the same time, we remain committed to letting Him direct every step along the way.
Prayer Requests
• For me, my family, and my surrounding community. Saying goodbye is never easy, but we believe the Kingdom is worth it.
• That the Lord would build the team He desires for this base and give us clarity in every step of that process.
• Safety for everyone involved, including my family. The enemy does not like when ground is taken back for the Kingdom.
• Provision for the mission. I will need approximately $1,800–$2,000 in monthly support to live out this vision, as well as $15,000 for startup expenses.
• For the students the Lord will send—that He would raise up laborers for the harvest who are full of passion, wisdom & the fruit of the Spirit.
• That the joy of the Lord would be my strength and constant companion
